Hey you lovelies!
As a new blogger, I love pouring over my favorite food blogs for inspiration, tips, or ideas. It’s so neat to see each writer fill a different niche and share their passion in their own way. I thought it would be fun to share with you guys some of the blogs I’ve been reading a lot lately and loving. Without further ado…
Kim Suddeath, creator of Unrefined RD is a registered dietician living in Oxford, Mississippi. I know Kim and her husband from our days at Harding University, and it has been so inspiring to follow the growth and development of her blog since she started about a year ago. Unrefined RD features tasty and healthy recipes with plenty of gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan recipes.
I’ve been drooling over this Chocolate Walnut Cake recently. The whole thing is grain free. How good does that look?!
When I’ve got a sweet tooth and am wanting a yummy treat that I can feel good about, this is the first place I go! Rachel is a self-proclaimed “breakfast and dessert enthusiast” (I hear ya girl) and has tons of recipes that are grain free and refined sugar free. Her bubbliness and passion shines through in her writing and I can’t get enough.
Agnes of Cashew Kitchen totally has the cool girl vibe down! Her blog’s tagline (vibrant food, quiet soul, wild at heart) I think sums it up beautifully. Her writing is so down to earth. One thing that really grabbed me about her blog were the photographs. They all have this dark and moody thing going that works so well. She also has some excellent and really helpful resources for food photography, which are invaluable for a new blogger like myself.
I’m really interested in the golden milk trend going on right now, and Cashew Kitchen’s recipe for Soothing Golden Milk looks divine!
Since starting the autoimmune protocol this month, I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve been on Autoimmune Wellness to get information, find a new recipe, or seek out support. Mickey Trescott and Angie Alt are the brains behind this blog, and have also written several books. What I particularly appreciate is their articles are super informative without being over my head, and the recipes are exciting without being unrealistically complex for someone who is busy. They have a free 2 week meal plan with recipes from their site, and I followed that exclusively this past week!
One recipe I’ve got my eye on to try at my next dinner party is this gorgeous AIP Classic Apple Pie. The crust uses arrowroot starch, coconut flour, coconut sugar, and coconut oil. Sounds easy enough!
Julie Bauer of PaleOMG is so sassy and downright hilarious, and her posts are a joy to read. She is a fitness and fashion enthusiast, and her blog covers everything from awesome paleo recipes to workouts to outfits to travel. You go girl!
Currently biding my time until I can eat eggs again so I can make these Pumpkin Crumb Pancakes. Ahh.
I would LOVE to hear from you! Have you made any of these recipes? Do you follow any of these blogs? What are your go-to’s and must reads? Let me know in the comments below!
